Our Shop

Tattooing is done in individual booths for your privacy and comfort. We employ both male and female artists.

Artisanal Tattoo strives to incorporate the most cutting edge products and state of the art equipment in the industry.

In addition to tattoo excellence, Artisanal Tattoo provides the best in traditional body art piercing. Our piercer has years of experience and has earned a reputation for being one of the best in the state of New Jersey.

Artisanal Tattoo provides an experience beyond that of traditional tattoo shops by showcasing local and national artists in our upstairs community art space. Shows are curated every 3-4 months and give artists an opportunity to display their artwork in an alternative space.

Shop Rules

  • YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO GET TATTOOED OR PIERCED AND HAVE VALID ID. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • We do not give tattoo prices over the phone or via email. We prefer to discuss the tattoo you have planned in person and therefore we will only discuss prices in person. The shop minimum, however, is $100.

  • Appointments can only be made in person with valid ID and a $50 deposit (which will go toward the total cost of the tattoo).

  • Cover ups and touch ups can only be discussed in person.

  • Try to be on time for your appointment. If you think you will be late or you are unable to show up, please call the shop and let us know. This is a courtesy for other clients who may be scheduled after you or who are waiting to schedule.
